The host is perfect. It was close to the beach, ideally situated;))

the room had beds and a shower. located within 5 minutes' drive from fistral beach. near newquay zoo, 20 minutes' walk to newquay train station.

The room was very small.

Comfortable stay. Walking distance for most amenities.

Cotehele Lodge is a guest house rather than a hotel which I think the web site lead me to believe. I didn't like the fact that breakfast wasn't included in the price and that if you did order breakfast it was brought to your bedroom! Most nights/early mornings included noisy youths walking home from nights out and chatting loudly outside window.

The facilities and layout of our room were great. Hosts friendly and welcoming. Good location, being close to the beach and good pubs, but not in the middle of town. Would recommend.

The bathroom door wouldn't stay shut from the outside, not a major problem though.

I liked that staff were on hand if you needed anything, but were not intrusive. Overall enjoyed our break, thanks to all at the Cotehele Lodge.

It was homely and very close to beach and town

Central location. Room was reasonablyfurnished and comfortable

Room was not properly cleaned and tidied each day, we made up our own bed most days and had to clean the wash hand basin on two of six days. The sea view was glimpse of the sea down the side street opposite the hotel. We had minimum contact with the owner who did not seem to care much about whether we were enjoying our stay or not. The shower had no power and trickled water.

The Fistral Suite was very spacious, really clean with everything it said in the advert, we would go back again and also recommend it to our friends.

An excellent place with well designed rooms, in particular the bathroom. Very friendly staff that were polite and helpful. Yummy breakfast in the morning.

The parking is limited.

The room (executive suite) was very visually appealing. Friendly environment and excellent location. Situated in the middle of all the main attractions in newquay therefore everything wad within walking distance. Also the novelty of having the breakfast brought to your room was very nice.

Bathroom was somewhat falling apart. Light cover fell off in the middle of the night, bath didn't fill up entirely, had problems with water temperatures which was resolved but would of been nice to not have to deal with. When we were leaving there was no key deposit box and staff weren't around to collect it. we also felt it was rather expensive for what we got.

Fantastic friendly staff. Great location. We stayed in the Fistral Suite which was perfect for us and our young children who loved the bunkbeds. I would definitely go back.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Cotehele Lodge, staff were friendly and on hand to help if needed.The room was lovelly and everything was ready for us on arrival. Good location near to everything going on in newquay. We also had breakfast delivered to the room which was good value for money and i would recommend it!

The room was not cleaned on a daily basis and we would have liked clean towels more often, but both of these things were sorted when requested.

Well situated, friendly atmosphere, very good breakfast. Would stay again!
